Our suspension packages have re-written what is possible on the Honda CB500X. Featuring high quality internals and rear shock by Tractive Suspension, paired with our own components produced by Rally Raid Products we have created two different options available for completely transforming the capabilities of your bike.

WHICH SUSPENSION PACKAGE IS BEST FOR YOU ?

Our suspension packages are available in both Level 1 & Level 2. The level 1 suspension package is perfect for riders who require the OEM seat height, but with improved handling across all terrain. In contrast the Level 2 suspension package offers a complete conversion, with an increase in seat height, travel and rear shock design along with many other components to transform this bike into a formidable adventure machine.

REMOTE PRELOAD ADJUSTER

The new design of Tractive shock body, compared to the previous version, allows for the fitment of their Hydraulic Preload Adjuster (RRP531). It allows the preload to be adjusted by up to 10mm with the simple turning of a knob on the remote adjuster, which adjusts the preload on the spring by means of hydraulic pressure.


A simple, quick way to adjust the preload when carrying extra luggage, or a passenger, or going from street to off-road travelling. No more hammering away at the OEM preload adjuster locknut, and struggling to turn it.

Can be supplied fitted, and no maintenance required. Supplied with all fixings.
 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
 

Note. All of these Adventure components are completely bolt-on and can be fitted with the correct tools in a home/workshop environment. However, there are two provisos with the Level 2 Adventure length suspension:

 

1) The ignition barrel is held on the OEM triple-clamp with security screws, that will have to be drilled to remove. Replacement mounting hardware will be supplied. 

 

2) If the Adventure rear suspension is fitted with the OEM exhaust silencer, then it will be necessary to modify the inside face of the conical part of the link pipe - by hitting with a suitable hammer… a template will be supplied, and this modification is not visible from the outside, and does not effect the performance of the silencer in any way. All the aftermarket exhaust options have a much thinner link-pipe section, so this is not an issue other than with the OEM silencer.

 

The front and rear Adventure suspension has to be fitted as package (including the new rear linkage, increased rise triple-clamp and longer side stand). However, it is also possible to fit the Adventure billet triple-clamp to a standard ride-height machine, for those owners who want adjustable bar positions and the option of a Fat-bar riser, and/or the addition of a steering damper
